Default Water pump mf'g

Putting my 2010 XK to bed next week for a 6 month rest. She has 58K on her.
Runs great but starting to worry about the famous water pump.
I figure when I wake her up in April I''ll take her in for a new pump rather than wait for it to fail..
Question is "Who makes the best replacement ?"
And what should I have done at the same time (new hoses, fittings, etc)

I've had good luck with the Beck Arnley for less than $100

OEM is the way to go for the pump on the 5.0 engines. I believe they have had 7-8 superseded pumps with the last being italian made in 2015. I had mine done over a year ago by Jaguar under warranty.

I’ve had the Ford JLR one and the Beck Arnley and couldn’t see a difference.

I gave up on the OEM after the latest version. They still haven't figured it out yet. Now trying a Beck Arnley. If you buy it on Amazon, you can add a 3-year warranty for $15 more and never have to pay for a water pump ever again

At $100 for a new pump, you’ll pay more than that in labour, unless you’re doing it. The Beck Arnley’s done about 20k miles and nearly 2 years and perfectly quiet and dry. On its third oil kit pipe though (factory one failed, second one was defective, I think). A member in this forum has had about 5 of the JLR FoMoCo ones in his 5 litre XKR. Either the bearings fail or the seals fail and seem sensitive to the way they’re installed.
