I have seen the same thing on multiple websites, some say it is for XK VIN Starting with B36761 and higher.

Agreed. I found one Jaguar dealer's parts web site that lists both the C2P17700 and the C2P20325 for the 2010 XK/R, so it would appear the change occurred in the 2010 model year at B36761.
