My drivers seat back (left side) is just starting to show scuffing from me sliding in the car. Is there any neat trick to prevent the progression of this problem on an otherwise perfect interior?

 

Monthly leather creme would be a start to slow it down

 

I was hoping for a product like that 3M covering for the bumper/end caps we see occasionally.

 

Perhaps not much you can do to stop it, but it can be repaired eventually with leather dye.

 

I always set one of the seat memory settings for getting in/out, which is to move the seat as far back as it goes and recline the back a fair amount. Just prior to getting out, just punch that memory setting and it will save your bolsters some. After getting in, punch the memory for your preferred driving position and, off you go...

Does the XK/R have that feature already built in? My X350 did.

Then again, there was probably less risk of breaking a rear passenger's legs.
