Default weatherTech mats

Hey Guys,
Not sure if this has surfaced.......
I was in the WeatherTech floor met site today looking for mats for my '08 XK-R. They show their "digifit" brand fitting the "XK" series but not the "XK-R" series. So, thinking "what's the diff"? Isn't the "R" just a performance difference? Apparently not according to the WeatherTech customer service folks. Obviously, they wouldn't elaborate on any difference due to proprietary reasons.
But the tech insisted there is a floor config diff. Anyone know?
Happy Trails......

I purchased and had to cut one little piece off and they fit "ok". Was worth it in my opinion!

Not sure what the difference is as I have the XK, just bought a set and they are very nice. I especially like how it covers the dead pedal area compared to the standard mats.

Maybe you R guys can see what's different so here's a few pics.

Hi,
Did you have to perform any trimming?
They do look nice. I have them in my other cars and like the WeatherTech mats, a bunch.
Thanks for posting.

I have a 2007 XK so no trimming required, they slid right in.

Maybe the guys with XKR's can see the difference between theirs and mine.

Pictures always help so I figured I'd post them for you guys.

OK, good. I heard the XK-Rs required trimming. I'm scratching my head trying to figure the differences in the floor plans between the XK & XK-R series. The only thought that comes to mind is the addition of a dead pedal?
Anyone else?

Happy trails.....

Thanks for the topic. When I got my '07 XK in November, I went to the WeatherTech site, and it didn't list match for my car. Just tried again, and sure 'nuf, there it is! Going to order them today, thanks!

Was in the vicinity of the WeatherTech factory store this afternoon, so I stopped in and bought the set for my XK. Saved a few bucks, even after paying tax, as I didn't have to pay shipping (built into the price on those web sites that say 'free' shipping).
They fit beautifully, thanks again for bringing up the topic!
