What did you do to your X150 today?

Anyway, what I did today is to install my Fast Pack spoiler, and it (mostly) fit!
I got it off eBay (OEM) from the Land of Tea, on advice of........ sorry, I can't remember? Sean? Think it was, but a couple people also said to try to get sellers to ship this direction. Cost me an extra 63 pbs, but that way I didn't have to pay the ridiculous 20% VAT.
What I DIDN'T know before is that the Brit antenna connector is different than the US spec one. So, now I either remove the whole shebang and swap sticky-tenna or just cut and splice the one wire.

Yep, I did like the general appearance of the MINA S-P spoiler I had, but it just fit waaayyy too poorly to keep.
I'm not in a hurry to paint it as it LOOKS OK, and I am now tempted to get some more Ground Effects stuff, and maybe KEEP the darker colors on the new bits. Just an idea for now.
I also agree about TOO MANY LEAPERS!!! Not sure where to go yet...... paint the spoiler and lose that Leaper? Keep the Spoiler Cat and lose the plate? Lose both? Paint the Plinth?
So many options.....

Since it is only a single wire, not even shielded, I will just lop off the connector and solder the other one back on. Of course I'll keep both, at least for now.

You are correct. MY car is Pearl Metallic and the spoiler came from GB already painted Ebony (I think?) It's almost black, and also metallic. Plus it is mostly shiny so I bolted 'er up to Make Certain it fit well enough.

I installed a wireless, solar powered backup cam in my 2009 XKR last night and enjoyed using it today. For details, see my Post #11 in this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...option-206212/
Super easy quick installation, no drilling, and no wiring. The display fits perfectly in the ashtray and it hides the power cord that plugs into the cigarette lighter to power the display.

Yes, do tell. What’s the problem?
I see that you’ve got both XK (black) and XKR (green) shocks, and maybe (could be photo angle) the shaft out of the green shock appears a tad shorter. But I had that too, when I replaced my 2007 XK front shocks, with those intended for a 2010-2011 XK (by the part numbers anyway).
Had to squeeze the springs a bit further to get the nut on, but got it done. Just think the shaft on the old shocks was loosy-goosy, so it stuck out farther.

Fast forward to the present ..as the front was just a tad too low and I already had a faulty CATs front shock I decided to replace the front shocks , whilst replacing I would use the xkr spring as these are stiffer then the Xk and looks to sit a tad lower than the standard xk
In terms of compressing the xkr spring yes very very difficult alot harder to compress then the xk, xkrs and 20mm lowered eibach spring. I actually ended up using 4 coil spring compressors .
At this stage I'm leaving the lowered springs in the rear as the combination (eibach rear, xkr front) actually looks perfect now , I've contacted the seller and he is sending replacement shock to me.
