What did you do to your X150 today?
Not so funny story about that. Back in my teen years, I bought an old Nissan for my wife/then girlfriend and she was driving in some heavy rain and the fuse box under the steering column caught fire. Turned out someone installed aftermarket fog lights that shorted out. They used a screw for the fuse.
I remember those days, no fire but a chewing gum wrapper scorched a bunch of the wire harness! I like the new chip fuses because they are a bit harder to screw up.
However, Rube proves everything is possible.

Followed 10XKR's lead and installed the optional hood louvers Jag offered as an upgrade. Gotta say they are a very nice touch. Went to a Brit/Euro car show over the weekend, and I'd say these definitely give the Jag a more premium look along the lines of what I saw on some of the Aston Martins.

That looks great and as you know it looks even better in person. I agree that it does kick things up a notch and looks more "premium". With the 2 chrome strakes it looks like 2 big canines from the front and definitely adds more "teeth" to the look of the vents.
I like the paint to match like you did yours and feel it works on the darker colors. With my Liquid Silver I felt it needed the extra pop of chrome to keep it from washing out the way the LS reflects light.
Great job,
Dave

Coming back from an appointment, there are two stretches of highway that are relatively sparse. The locals like to think of it as our own private Autobahn. So I had a little fun and cleaned out some carbon deposits:-)
Settle haha
1. Ordered parts to fix my leaking valve cover gasket (https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...3/#post1893358).
2. Ordered most of the parts list by Patrick Wong in his thread on replacing coolant hoses (https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ervice-186165/).
3. Loaded SDD software on a (new to me) old laptop to be able to 'poke around' in the future.

It works now.
Yay!
