Nope; the rattle still persists, unchanged. It sounds like something larger than just some small bits, too, but I have tried fondling the interior trim on the passenger side and everything feels solid. Stuff like this is extremely annoying to troubleshoot.

While the door parts were removed, did you drive to observe if the rattle sound had changed?

Better Fellas? I went with 25mm in the rear. Prefer closest to stock. I didn't want to shorten the studs.

What size wheels/tires are those? They seem a bit tiny.

I trimmed and painted my lower grill semi-gloss black to reduce the basking shark look.

Looks really good Don! If the seating got too crowded you could always fire her up and clear a table for yourself too.

That was the annual US Steel show our (Pittsburgh Jaguar Club) puts on at their headquarters plaza. They give us free Starbucks coffee, burnt and bitter.

Ralph, looking really good! The vents made a great addition to the look.

Cool Can't leave well enough alone

I welded on four Borla intercooled tips to my Mina muffler just cause I felt the need.

Very nice mod, Ralph! Especially on your silver car, I think the added contrast makes the openings seem larger and more aggressive than either of the OEM variants with body color surrounds. A++

That's one thing I think I'm going to change on my exhaust, bump the tips up to 3". 2.5" just looks smallish compared to current models. I think Civics are even larger than that...

Did notice that mine is up to 132k on the ride into work this morning.

Nope, thanks for the suggestion! I'll have to try that. Another thing I noticed is that my rear quarter trim isn't attached properly at the top. Doesn't look like it's too difficult to remove; I'll have to check it as well.

Looking at JEPC, the quarter casing is another bit that can be trimmed in either ambla or leather. I had no idea; guess that's one more bit of leather to look after, then...

I finally bought some new rear tyres today so hopefully my traction issues are over.

The traction control light didn't come on on the way home even though I provoked it quite hard in second gear. Doing the same thing on the way to the tyre shop brought on instant wheel spin in 2nd and 3rd gear with the old Dunlop SportMaxx's.

I now feel a lot happier about going ahead with the supercharger pulley upgrade.

Just arriving for a Vet golf outing at a golf course up in the Catskill mountains of NY. Great one hour tops down drive followed by 18 hols of brats and beers followed by a German diner at their restaurant . Fun day for all . Great follow up for the 4th.

How is the ride smoothness and sound level with the 4S? Thinking this will be my next tire purchase.

Thanks in advance,

Dave
