Default Wheel off set

Is there a difference in wheel off set from front to back. I realize there is a difference in rim width but was curious if you can get a spare set of front wheels and use them on the rear. Also can you use the same size rears on the front. For anyone who drives in the winter and has winter tires do you still have the staggered set up or are you running the same wheel/tire combo on all 4 corners.

Very easy to verify, just swap your wheels around and see if there is any rubbing on the caliper or elsewhere. Also, because the rear takes such a large wheel and tire combo, what you are asking is that will there be room if I use something smaller.

I have the opposite inquiry. I want to know if the larger rear wheels fit upfront.
What style wheel do you have?

It may help to know that Jaguar state (I believe) that a narrower front rim can be used as a spare for the rear of the STR. (STRs have staggered wheels.) But the rear cannot be used as a spare for the front.

I suppose if used as a spare, so one wide & one narrow on the rear, you'd not be wise to do high speeds.

Just did a quick search, and in other threads it states that the front offset is 49, while the rear depends upon the year. For 2007-2009 it is 31, while 2010+ it is 46 (due to the ediff).

So it would appear that the 3MM plus 1 inch width shouldn't be a problem on a 2012. Thanks
