widest tires on 19 in wheels

I've searched but can't find this answer. I have a 2010 XKR with the stock 19 in wheels. I'd like to replace the tires with something a little wider if possible, at least for the rears. Has anyone done this?

285/30x19 would be the normal replacement, but I believe a 305/30 will also fit, but better make sure your wheels are at least 11" wide.

I'm thinking that the stock 19s are only 9 in wide? Can anyone confirm?
