I feel sorry for Swallows racing having their name pulled into this. He's been flapping on about how the car is going there like its all booked in, but "I have been given another phone number to talk to them" sounds like he hasn't even made it past the receptionist yet 🤣

Nobody cares what you've been told, we're all waiting for you to actually do something!

Does that mean you'll have the 'FIRST' XKR/5litre, "fastest fully Cabriolet car in the world" with a manual transmission that Swallows have done?

Course you need the right wheels to make those happen. If the car is lowered, the profiles should be at 30 instead of 35. No spacers needed (nor recommended, ever)!!!
I don’t want the car lowered and I will do exactly to the car whatever swallows recommend.

I have gone from the XKRS Wheel specifications but if you would like to alter these then please let me know and I can amend.
ET: 45mm
PCD: 5 X 108mm
CB: 63.5mm
Front: 9J x 20”
Rear: 10.5J x 20”

Tom has also mentioned we can offer AVO coilovers to aid to your suspension upgrades if you’re interested?

We use BRAID motorsport wheels for our own race car applications so we have full faith in a tried and tested product.

The forged I+ weight approximately 10.2kg and 10.4kg respectively.

In comparison the Carbon fibre weigh in at 9.6kg and 9.9kg.
While you may be thinking - this is not a massive weight saving difference in comparison for the money value between the options - it is important to note that, this is infact unsprung vehicle weight which calculates to 4 times the static weight, so when you consider that is per wheel it actually does add up and genuinely make a massive difference. I have attached pictures so you can see the style of wheel they do, hopefully these are to your liking.

so guys, I will listen to the experts if they say change to carbon breaks, I will

If you paid attention and read my signature, you'd see the answer to your question. What you won't see is me going around telling people my car is "the fastest xxx in the world" when it's never left the dyno 😂

Yes, Syvecs are a standalone ECU option for race cars, like Motec https://www.motec.com.au/. No idea they offered Jaguar kits.

If you’re on a mobile then you won't see everything on this forum including missing valuable member info in the signatures.

Right and as I said previously, it's a ZF 6-speed manual, not an 8-speed...

Still waiting to hear where this 8 speed manual is coming from. Perhaps a lorry?

Right...the only 8-speed manual I'm aware of is Eaton's heavy duty 8 and 10-speed... I'm certain it was simply a misunderstanding as Swallow's only offer the ZF 6-speed conversion.

Alright guys, we all can be a little more civilized than what's going on here. None of us KNOW what's actually going on, but evidently something is. Maybe Frank IS going to have a lot done. Maybe it WILL be quite a performer. There's no need to bash him continuously.
Once in awhile is fine, just like everyone else.
Let's wait for awhile and see what happens.
Maybe good stuff.
Maybe a laugh track.

You seem set on all that, which is fine. I have no problem with that.
It's still not the largest that fit well.

although they believe it will cost around 50,000 pounds, which means the car will stand in around 115,000 pounds, but the only fully convertible that can do 220 miles an hour cost 3 1/2 million so cheap and half the price also, the car looks like it just drove off the production line. The underneath is as clean as the top and you’re right in saying it’s only been on a Dino., however, I did race a Lambo back down the M40
went off the clock and waved goodbye

You’re responding to the wrong post, mate. It was other posts and members referring to fast convertibles and the dyno reference.
