I've been meaning to comment about your signature quote for a long time.......
Thing is, I'm always happy that I'm right!
Course, I'm on wife #4 now.

Many, many moons ago I had an employee tell me that statement and in my opinion no single sentence can sum up a long term relationship more accurately. I'm at 39 years of marriage and counting and I could not be happier, but rarely am I right. I have however noticed as my hearing slips that over the last few years the wolf sounds alot like Charlie Browns teacher.

They have a lot of different styles.
The new trim looks much better in person than in pictures as it has nice texture and satin reflection to it.... I get it that i replaced real wood with a vinyl but center console piece was very damaged with scratches and pealing clear coat. maybe one day i will go back to real wood or at least piano black finish

Well you're certainly not a quitter. My sister is not either as she just booted number 5. She married one of them twice. Life is short and no do overs so charge on.

There is a trick you can do with what you have to get that mile deep look of lacquer. They make satin and gloss overlaminates that go over the wrap.

Avoid piano black at all costs, unless you are already bald.
Also if you ever want to refinish that wood, lookup BritishAutoWood. They are a jag specialist and a sponsor.

I was going to ask what the reason for the change was but it would have appeared sarcastic.

To be really honest I just was not a fan of the style of the real wood I had in my car, the pattern wasn’t my style..... there is that light wood trim I like but it would cost a lot to replace it.. so for now wrap will do until I grow up to appreciate the original wood trim
