Default Xenon issue, adaptive function lamp fault flashing.

Just looking for some advise.
my 2007 XKR150 has developed the common AFS, the difference that I appear to have is my problem appeared to start with the xenon bulb failing, the AFS light on the dash comes and go but the bulb seems to stay off/blown.
I don't want to change the bulb and then find out that the fault lies with the module. Now I have developed an issue with indicator and side repeater on the same side, further pointing to a module fault.
has anyone experienced similar faults.

Thanks in advance.

Kev

Have you checked the connector to ensure it is seated fully? Also the wiring on that side may be suspect. There are several comments about the poor insulation on the headlight wiring.

Thanks Cee Jay, I haven't done any checks yet. I was going to look at swapping the os and ns units to see if fault follows or common to one side. If this works it should help identify if it's the unit or the wiring I guess.

Thank's for the input.

Check the earthpoints, they can corrode.
