Has anybody done this modification with Jaguar part #02C2P18506XXX? It can only be done on the 2009 -11 XK models and takes the place of the gray defuser. It looks great to me, but I can't tell if there is any cutting involved to the rear of the car to make it fit flush.

 

This 2008 XK 60 popped up for sale here recently. Is it the same kit?

 

It definitely looks like it but those exhaust finishers look like they are an after-market pair as they look more squared off. The OEMs look more oval. The holes they protrude from also look square. The Jag catalog says theirs only fits 2009-2011 XKs and this is a 2008. Good picture though - looks like the car is lunar gray like mine, and I think the rear looks better than stock.

 

If you google Jaguar XK60 and look at the images they all have it along with the square exhaust tips so it looks like standard fitment on that special edition. I guess that is where they got the idea from for what you are talking about.
