Borrowing from the F-type group, I've set-up a ZeeMaps link where we can pin our locations using color pins. Like that group, I thought it might be something interested members could use to see who may be in their own area.

Great idea! I see from your signature that you're in Rabun Gap, Georgia. I'm in Sandy Springs and just added mine with a blue marker, together with a photo and details of my XKR.

I also noted that markers are available in 30 colors. We can identify model years on the map if we use one color for each year. Using the color sequence in the dropdown box results in:

2007 - Red
2008 - Purple
2009 - Blue
2010 - Yellow
2011 - Green
2012 - White
2013 - Brown
2014 - Black
2015 - Grey

If you've already mapped your car, you may want to edit it. If you lost the edit link, just delete it and reenter it with the above marker color.

pwpacp -if you're the Map Administrator, you can insert a Map Legend that reflects the above colors. That will make it easier for new additions to choose the color for their year.

I just noticed that several markers don't show the model year. If that's you, please edit your marker to show your model year.

 

Thanks for setting this up! I added my 07 XK coupe as a marker for Winston-Salem, NC. I think it would be amazing to have regional all-X150 group rides.

 

The legend has been modified, just hope it is right. If not let me know and I'll take another stab at it.

Otherwise as Stuart indicated you can modify your color by year but may have to delete the balloon first then re-enter.

You know, as we pass through your area I will be on the lookout for you!

 

I like the regional rides idea! Maybe find some central point to start from and go from there.

 

Great idea - looks like I'm the second UK member to post their location.

 

I now have a photo of my XKR added to the post. I was unable to change the color of the flag.

 

Ralphwg, I changed the color for you. I hope it is correct. (entering "x150" in Map Access allows revisions to entries.)
