I have a XKR 08 convertible
It only has the base speakers, but I was recently given 7 Alpine speakers that were from a same year salvage.

Questions
1) Can I straight swap out the base speakers for these Alpines
2) Dash center speaker - my car does not have one, but I now have the Alpine one I can install. I see under the grille a cable - does anyone know if its wired up in the base model - ie if I just plug in this center speaker will it work
3) I dont have the Alpine Sub, is it work getting it - is it pre-wired like the center speaker or would this be a more difficult job

Short answer is yes you can swap out the 4 speakers you have with the Alpines. The rest requires some changes. Give this excellent thread a read:
