XKR DIY Transmission Fluid Change Q's
After letting the Jag stand for a few days I noticed a small leak of ATF fluid on the garage floor. I climbed under and noticed the AT pan was all wet.
I think it's time to change the pan gasket, and put in a new filter and fluid.
After reading a few MB sites re: the 722.6 I noticed quite a few mentions for changing the harness end plug adaptor as well - any opinions on this? Seems like a simple enough plug and play press on item.
(This MB site seems to especially have good info:
Mercedes-Benz 722.6 Transmission FAQ - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum
This is the plug mentioned to leak most of the time on the 722.6:
722.6 13-pin connector - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum)
Looks like my shopping list will be:
1. 722.6 Gasket
2. 722.6 Filter
3. Titan ATF 4134 fluid (6 liters)
4. MB 722.6 Dipstick tool - I assume this is a standard 722.6 MB part I can simply ebay? (I'd prefer the actual part, though I know some just use a wire)
5. 13 pin connector?
I would like to go with all OEM parts and not take any shortcuts. Any recomendations for sourcing these parts? Has anyone bought these directly from an MB dealer before?
Thanks!

You're right, I just noticed this, the XK/XKR / XK8/XKR links always get me!
