Default Xkr performance exhaust

The picture i show is a quicksilver system and another system that has no valves on the rear box pipes,
unlike my original xkr exhaust that is in the picture that have the valves on the outside pipes that opens the valves under acceleration for more noise.
So if i fit the quicksilver or similar type of system what happens to the old valve pipes when not used, there is one each side, so nothing to connect the small pipes that were connected to these valves, would it be better to block them or leave open and remove the fuse to stop it trying to work to open valves that aren't there.
What has anyone else done with theirs.

I would not remove the stock active exhaust system which gives you the ability to drive civil or like a hooligan. The good thing about the XKR is that out of the box (showroom) the car is built so no or little modifications are required unless you intend on tracking your car and if your into tracking you probably would want a more tack oriented car such as the Nissan GT-R.
