Default Xkr-s clone. I need help

I Need help to find the vender that supplies or builds this XKR-S kit, as you can see it uses the original XK 150 body parts , fenders/ headlights etc .It would be an easy mod . See attachment.
Thanks Bernie.

Not digging the rocker panels but the front spoiler is cool. Isn't the nose on the XKRS carbon fiber?

Default XKR-S Body Kit Conversion

Bernie,

Looks like the vendor is Vantari in the UK: Jaguar XKR-S Conversions, Facelifts, Bodykits, Restoration & Repairs » Vantari
Not sure if their kit works with the earlier style headlights or if the newer shape headlights are optional.

Keep us posted as to your progress. I'm interested in your planned LED tail light conversion and the wiring harness. Adamesh in the UK sells a complete kit for $1,016.08 plus shipping, but you may be able to do it for less: jaguar accessories | jaguar xk and xkr | led rear lights Unsure about issues with the Adamesh kit on USA-spec XK models: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...s-36907/page5/

Hope this helps,

Stuart

The pics was put on a post by Richard ---Richzac. I dont know where he got it from.?

I passed it on to Chris at Mina to see if he wants to make it, If he does not, I might try it myself. Just need to get hold of a XKR-S bumper & a 06 to 09 XK bumper.perhaps a damaged one , just need the top part. Bernie

Thumbs down probably the worst conversions...in the world

do not go near Vantari. poor conversions that actually devalue the original car. These people will supply a poorly contructed and badly painted kit car.

I would be interested , it would be easyer to to buy it made than to build it myself .though I know I can . Depends on lots of factors ,ie cost , material , how long it would be before finished & quality fit . the cost to buy all oem parts is approx & 7000.00 that is changing lights ,fenders etc . the other problem is getting the oem from jaguar, the dealers wont sell you the parts unless you own a XKR-S. to do a clone you need a bumper from a xk 150 wich I have , you only need the top parts around the head lights , and the bumper from a XKR -S marry them together, then make a mold to start producing them , Im not interested in going in preduction, I just want one for myself. Making the mold would be the most costly part & time consuming , Then it would be easy to produce and reasable price. But then I like doing that kind of thing for fun, See my post on rear seat deleat , I passed that on to Chris at Mina and he is in the process of producing it should be ready any day now.
I am looking for help to find a used XKR-S bumper at the moment If anyone can help. Thanks

As long as it was reasonably priced id buy one from Mina if they made one. The only other one I like is from fxdesigns on eBay and after talking to them they sound like some arrogant ******. I was just about to pull the trigger on one of their bumpers for 1700$ until i spoke with them.

I bought my rear bumper/diffuser from F/X Designs and the front splitter and side skirts from Mina. F/X is not the epitome of great communication. I got my bumper after the first one was supposedly shipped to the wrong place and then destroyed. After 3 or 4 weeks it finally came. I was also assured that it was primed and paint ready which also wasn't true. It took a lot of prep work and heating it to fit properly. It also came with a cheap plastic honeycombed mesh rather than the metallic mesh shown in their ebay listing. Those are the negatives, the positive is that when all is said and done, I like it, it's aggressive, different, and the chances of seeing another one like it are nearly impossible.
