XKR Space saver
New to the forum with our 2013 XKR.
We recently purchased this car but it has no puncture repair kit as would've been fitted new.
I do have a small compressor and sealant but I would really like to carry a space saver.
I've looked through the forum and opinion seems divided on this subject. I can see the upside and downside of both options.
As the late XKRs with 20" wheels aren't too common here in NZ, finding a wrecked vehicle with one would be unlikely, so my question is;
Are there any other Jaguar models which might carry a space saver that will fit our XKR? For both front and rear?
Thanks.

I'm 99% sure that any and every OEM space saver for a modern (post 2008) Jag will fit and work as they are all the same 19" and were all designed to fit over the front 380 mm brakes that came on XFR, XKR, XJR and F-Type R etc.
Post 2010 is probably safer but they don't all appear to be 19"
I think that the space saver in the 4.2's is an 18 inch. The one in my 07 XKR was orange and identical to the one in my old '04 X350.
The one in my '10 XKR is indeed a 19" and is black. The part number for those is C2P12621 which is also used on the X250 XF and supercharged X351 XJ. The non-supercharged XJ has an 18" orange one listed as an option.
The one for the F Type is 19" but is supposedly red and a different part number and the one for the XE and X260 XF is 18" so I would stick with a 2010 on XK/XJ S/C or X250 XF and make sure it is black.

interesting that LR put a pressure sensor on the spare but Jaguar didn’t. With those dummy tires, I wouldn’t be trusting a used one. In fact now that I think about it; aren’t they “one time use”?

Thank you everyone for your assistance.
I now know what other models I can look for with a chance of picking up a spare space saver wheel.
They will all be a bit thin on the ground here in New Zealand but you never know.
