Nice to know they like it better than the Aston Martin, and to top that, we own one.

I have watched it ten times, love it. Is is amazing how he slides it at 110mph.
My son commented "It make the Mercedes and BMWs feel like wood LOL" I agree. I personally was amazed how tight the car is with the aluminum body.

This is one of the videos that turned me towards an XKR in the first place.

 

Did Top Gear ever do a feature on the modern XKR-S? I seem to remember a silly head-to-head in the rain with a GT-R, but what about a proper, full review?

I actually can probably say the same thing. I have a friend who owns an Aston and I sent that video to him right after I bought the XKR. He did not respond to the email which spoke volumes to me!! 😄😄

 

No proper XKRS review per say... Just the rubbish against the GTR.... Not same car!!!! Not same quality... Not same goal... Rubbish review!

 

The big things that the Aston has over the Jag is nicer leather and manual transmission option. Construction is quite similar, but after watching the assembly of both cars, the Jaguar seems more precise.

 

I don't think they have done a proper review of an XK with the 5.0L yet.

 

Yeah, I watched this about half a dozen times....power slides at 100!!!! XK-RRRRRRR gotta say it lie a pirate and you mean it!!!

 

That video made my buy my XKR when I saw it last October. Awesome!
