Default XKRS 2014 Rear Pads

Can anyone please advise on the rear brake pads for my 2014 XKRS

oem pads are C2P25493

I believe these pads have a clip on the inside brake pad ?
I intend to fit EBC yellow stuff pads and new Discs.
Pads are EBC. DP42059R
I am told they don’t have a clip but on the EBC brake web site it clearly shows these as an aftermarket alternative.
Please advise if I can use the existing clip off the old pads?
The oem pads are very expensive and I understand EBC yellow stuff is the best ?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

I don't have an XKR but various types of clip are often used which are bonded or rivetted to the metal backing plate of the pad itself and are not detachable. You will obviously not be able to use this type of clip of the new pads. Sometimes the clip or shim is held on with simple fold-over metal tabs and this type can easily be removed and transferred to the new pad.

When I did my rear pads the new pads came with clips. I have a Dynamic R which has the brakes as the XKR-S. I forget the brand, but I purchased them from rockauto.com. I don't think the clips are detachable from the pads.

Funny how Jaguar depreciation goes.... Makes sense actually. Buy new - expensive car. New parts - expensive. Low to medium miles after warranty over- Cheap!! High mile after warranty... give it away!
