Default XKRS Bilstein Shocks?

Hi Guys

Has anyone upgraded there standard XKR suspension to the XKR-S Suspension if so was it worth it? Mines lowered 15mm already so wondering what the advantages were as it seems I could get a full set of shocks and springs for around £500 all in?

Cheers Paza

That sounds pretty cheap, £500.

Do you track your car?

Paza3, I saw those shocks too (I won't say where ) but am not sure what difference they would make. Can I ask what springs your running and whether they are much different from standard?

Hi Guys

Yeah there a 3 sets on there and one set without springs. Priced pretty reasonable for what you get.

What I believe are fitted are Adamesh springs only 15mm all round , I will need to check the invoices on Saturday when I collect the beast ! , as I have only just purchased her.

I drive a odd track day maybe 1 a year or bi annual but mainly A road routes, dales , lake district, Evo triangle. We as a group do an annual Euro Trip and might drop into Spa or Nurburgring so i like to push my car within its limits but its no track slag. So maximises the suspension is important , but would need to be an improvement on what I have already

Thanks for the reply, I hope the pick up went okay and you've been enjoying your new ride this weekend. I would wait a while until you're used to how she rides before you think about swapping out the shocks. I'm assuming you know about the effects of dynamic mode? Initially I was a bit disappointed as I could hardly tell the difference between the 2 modes, however when you're pushing on, especially over yumpy unstable surfaces (which as you know we have a lot of over here) there is a dramatic change in how the car composes itself. At the start of the B660 the car felt like a bucking bronco until I hit the dynamic button, from then on it was quite honestly stunning.
