Question How do I remove my rev-counter - XK140 DHC?

I need to remove the rev-counter to investigate some ticking and to repair the clock. Advice on how to do this please.

I note there appear to be thumb-screws at the top on the LHS & RHS of the centre panel with all the instruments.

BTW, the ticking is not due to the drive cable which I have removed, dismantled, re-assembled and reinstalled - because it is perfect.

Ta, Jerry

Remove those to screws on each side dash, swing down and you undo screws from mount on tach and remove bulbs and wiring, should drop right out. Reinstall in reverse.

Thanks Larry.

That should allow me to sort things. The thumb screws are quite tight so I needed to be sure that is what they are before using a bit more effort or mechanical help.

Cheers, Jerry
