Unhappy Unobtainium part?

I need the drawer slides - BD8823 and BD8821 (two each) for the drawer at the bottom of the instrument board on a 140 DHC. An "all the usual suspects" search turned up empty. Apparently, when a radio was installed, the whole assembly was discarded. Does anyone have a set in the old parts bin?

Same here. it's freaking crazy. I have been thinking of doing something like building in some additional drawers in the trunk space of my Jaguar SUV just because I am driving around with too many little things all the time. I have been talking to my mechanic to figure out what works best for the space I have and how to make sure I am still able to fit suitcases in. He gave me a preliminary design that I am kinda okay with. He plans to order a German internal mechanism for the drawers (like the linear führungen or in plain English the linear rails). I hope that it will turn out okay. We are starting the construction next week.

I was missing those slides for the drawer of my XK140FHC too.
I made them myself from some C shaped aluminum profile attached to self made brackets, works ok.

Peter Jan
