Question Upgrading rear suspension

To improve the ride on our XK-120, it was suggested that we replace the lever shocks with direct-acting shocks, supplemented by Panhard rods (and ???). How difficult is this with the body attached to the frame? What components are involved? Where might I find literature on sources of parts and installation process?

Thanks.

This involves installing top shock mounts. The body has to be removed from the frame to do this.
