Default 03 Blend doors?

Noticing that my AC is working fine, bu that when I put my hand in front of the middle two vents that the right one is slightly warmer. Still cold but I can feel a diff. Does this car have a blend door?

No, both sides are fed by the same duct

huuum. Wonder why I get warmer air out of the pass side vents. Again it is not warm air but it is not the same cold cold as on drivers vents.

No idea, I just finished rebuilding my center vents and I promise they are fed by one duct. You can close each side independently but not control temperature independently.

Yeah, I have the SAME issue... the right side is not quite as cold as the left/driver's side. I can't remember if the right vent near the window is warmer as well or if it is just the center vent (I assumed that there were separate blend doors so I didn't bother to check that other vent).

There are a few threads on the forum with this same problem. The consensus is low refrigerant charge. The evaporator is not cooling at the same rate all across the coils and the out come is different air temps at the vents. air travels the least distance to passenger side and seems cooler than drivers side that requires further travel.

Mine does the same. I have made some progress in the diagnostics, but have not fixed it, yet.

Basically, the system has 2 blowers/fans, one left and one right. Each one is equipped with its own door (actuator and sensor) for outside vs. recirculated air and transistor/resistor for the motor. There are great pictures on eBay to help make sense of this. This dual system is the only thing I can think of that can make a difference in air temp left-to-right.

Both of those fans feed air into the main box, onto the heater core first, then the a/c evaporator. There are a number of doors and sensors in the main box as well. It is all well displayed in the repair manual.

My understanding is that basically all of the circuits are monitored by the a/c control module, and the well documented diagnostic procedure can show what the control module thinks of all of this with error codes. Of course, my car showed no code...

So, I started trying to debug the fans, one at a time, because with both of them running at the same time, it is hard to find anything out. So, I pulled the "blower motor" fuses, one at a time (even both to make sure I was getting this right), and started running the a/c. I checked that each of the fans was actually running (not dead), then that each one was responding to the fan control.

I basically found out that my passenger side blower seems kind of obstructed, or maybe there is an air leak. It acts the same on fresh air or on recirc. But there is a lot more whooshing sounds from the duct between the blower and the box, somewhere in the passenger side foot well. At this point, I would need to do a bit of disassembly, probably starting with removing the glove box. I was hoping not to have to mess with the passenger airbag and wood veneered panel.

My sense is that with low air flow from the passenger side, the driver side blower is doing all the work, even possibly pulling in warm air from the cabin as well, from the passenger side.
