I have recently started thinking about putting an 05 bumper cover/front nose on my 02 XKR.

Any Jag experts know if the o5 body piece will fit with no mods? Anybody ever done this?

Hennessey in Atlanta says that an 05 front piece will not fit on an 02 - but I wanted to ask here to get a definitive answer...

The folks at Hennessey Jaguar in Atlanta don't seem to know a whole lot about these cars. The service advisors will tell you almost anything not knowing what they are talking about. So sad. I've had to tell them how to do a couple of things myself. They replaced a broken puddle lamp on my driver door and put it on up-side-down.

 

Yes, I have had a couple of issues with the Hennessey folks as well - which is why I did not believe them when they told me that an 05 bumper cover would not fit my 02. The worst of the Hennessey dealerships is the one on Piedmont Avenue - near Phar road. They used to have a service manager that was a complete piece of $hit. He was the one that I had to deal with when the timing chain broke on my wife's XJ8. I won't go into that...

 

Yes I dealt with him. Car is out of warranty, so I'll be taking it elsewhere for repairs.
