just replaced my regulator today couple of things ill add to the instructions mentioned in previous threads. {http://www.jagrepair.com/images/Auto...lacement-2.pdf} . have a magnetic pick up tool your gonna need it for the nuts and screws you'll drop in the frame . when removing the old unit remove the motor first if its not covered in plastic makes removing the frame of the regulator much easier . i havnt seen just the motor available so install the new unit rather than trying to swap motors . when installing the motor will just clear if you go in between the convertible top and the window frame . the front upper mounting bolt tends to be in the way trying to slide it forward into position remove it and you can put it back in thru a hole in the frame just behind the mounting area for the top bolt . then slide it forward into position.
