Default 100,000 miles

I passed that milestone today. My wife and I have been going to the beach or the mountains just about every weekend this summer and the miles have been adding up. I bought the car last Spring. When I bought her she had 72,000 miles on the clock. So that's 28,000 miles in a year and 4 months. That's 21,000 miles per year! 90% of that is just pleasure driving, too. I have an Expedition that I drive for work. Now that it's starting to cool off maybe I'll give her a break.

Congrats, Rev!

My '03 has 91K and I drive it every day. Many moons ago, I had a roadside 100K celebration with a bit of bubbly - that was for my '86 Lincoln Mk VII LSC. I'll have to start planning a little something for my Jag. Anyway, i look forward to many more miles on this car - or maybe an R replacement.

Mike

LOL! That's cool. We didn't celebrate. In fact, I actually missed it when it happened! I knew it was coming, but we were talking and I just forgot. I glanced down and it said 100003.

Congrats on the milestone.

Planning on traveling down to SoPines this week. During routine maintenance yesterday, I found a nail in rear tire 1/2" in from sidewall. Rather new tires. Glad I found before 750 mile trip. Not sure it's plug-gable because of location. Depending on time frame of whether I can get new tire delivered will determine if I drive Jag down this trip.
