155
Not me. However, Last Monday, I discovered on my phone app that I had gotten to 112 mph passing someone near Chimmey Rock NC. I don't approve of anyone doing this. I will have to be more careful. I consider myself to be a safe law abiding driver, but evidently not perfect.
Sadly not, but I did clock just over 130 on a deserted road early one morning (not here - there's nowhere safe enough). I have no doubt, however, that she would have reached the mark. Quiet, stable and unstretched.

Of course, several times when I was in a hurry....Actually 175 has been tops as of now, as my ECM has been recalibrated a little-bit! Probably a little left but that was enough at the time.......After all, it's the Texas Coupe and sometimes we have to go a long way down the Road.........Still stable at that speed....

159 with my XKR, according to my GPS based Performancebox. The tach did read ~275 @that moment.
I'm pretty confident about the speed reported by the Performancebox, especially because those BMW's limited to 155 where unable to follow.

Wow Dr. D, 112 and passing at Chimney Rock, hats off, as I know that road well!, I saw 145 in my XKR as I passed a Hemi Challenger on I-85 just south of Atlanta, oh yeah, I gave a little wave and a smile as I passed. Sometimes, Old Guys Rule!!
About 130 mph on an empty stretch of I-40 at 3:30 am driving alone on a cold November morning a few years back. It was rutting season and I started thinking that if I hit a deer, I was instantly dead. I quickly backed it down to my customary 85 mph for that stretch of road. Probably a better chance of deer-strike survival, but maybe not....
Loxmth, They come from Coventry with an Electronically Limited ECU.....but the ECU can be fixed....
One of our Sponsors ETC (ECU Tuning Group) can do it......Mine was done by Eurotek Designs, Inc in Bronxville, NY as part of their Supercharger package for the 2003 and up XKR's. Their package gives you the Oversized Pulley for the Crank and the undersized Pulley for the Supercharger and they reprogram your ECU and if you want, they can remove the Limiter...........Works well for me in Texas!

It was actually an easy fix for my Australian delivered vehicle:
Please remember that this was accomplished by a professional driver on a closed course. Do not attempt to do this at home!
l also have one of those Aussie models Stu but thankfully mine enjoys a burst of speed just as much as myself. No screams generally.
