1990's interior plastics
Hello all
We all know that the plastics were just truly awful back in the day, brittle and broke very easily...
I have tried to source a lot of replacement bits over the years for my 1999 XKR Coupe and they are hard to find and expensive..
I have just been trying to remove the rear parcel shelf to retrim it and what do yer know? SNAP... A couple more bits of brittle plastic gone off the seat sides.
Bah! But it got me thinking.... in this day of 3D printers ... has anyone one managed to get their Jag interior plastics replaced with more durable Stuff? And if so where can I find them?
Any help is really appreciated..
Cheers guys

You are talking plastic that is 25 years old so it will be brittle...that new car smell is all the polymers coming out of the plastic so add 25 years and what's left ?
I have seen some internal door supports 3 D printed
