VIN starting 031303 had 2 cam sensors.

reason i ask about the cam sensors is because the ecu is from a 99 xk8 and i have a 97xk8 rj237

I think I can confidently state that it will not work. That is from a AJ27 engine, you have a AJ26 unless it was replaced.

There are a couple of used ones usually. Do a search for the part # on google, but make sure you get matching numbers like I said earlier, including the last three digits.

Avoid Central Parts Int'l in Florida. They said they found one and it never appeared. Still waiting for a refund after 5 months.

And forget the battery until you find a ECM.

Not all ECU's are compatable with this car and when you find one they need to be programmed to that car.

I sell only one item and that is the LSI valve. In the trunk of your car you should find a list of all the modules in that car. See if you can identify and match the code of your bad ECM.
