1997 XK8 throttle body. What other years and even other jags does it swap out with. Does a super charged cars TB work?
As I understand it, 97 and 98 kx8's are swappable? Any other model year Jag that is a direct fit into my 97 Xk8???

 

XK8 and XKR TBs are NOT interchangeable however a TB from an XJ308 is but as with the XKR the XJR is not.

 

Not sure about swap but you can get them rebuilt. I just had mine done by Auto and truck Electronics in Tennessee. I found them on ebay. Cost roughly $500. But I believe the earlier models were cheaper

 

1997-1998 XK8 and 1998 XJ8 are AJ26 so they will interchange. They will have the vacuum actuator on the throttle assy.

Had mine looked at to be rebuilt, it failed some bench test and could not be done. So I have to find rebld and put it on.
