1998 Door mirror master switch
My mirrors won’t adjust with the joystick on the door master switch. The mirrors move when using the memory.
I disassembled the switch and cleaned the corroded contacts. No change. I replaced the switch with one from a breakers yard. First I inspected it for corrosion. Found none. Still, neither mirror will move .
I probably will need a wiring schematic and trace power. Anyone have any other better plan?
Thanks

Ltd, did you get continuity through the switch positions after cleaning? IOW does moving the joystick/selecting the side close the connection to different outputs on the switch traces? That way you'll know if the problem is in the switch or elsewhere in the circuit.
I spent way too much time focusing on my tilt telescope switch trying to figure out why I couldn't get it to move the steering wheel. Years later I replaced my turn signal assembly stalk and harness for a different problem. To my surprise it fixed the tilt / telescope issue!
