l very much doubt you will find a crossover in the door, certainly not "factory".
I know l just used a resistor in the run up to the "sail" speaker.

Yea just looked as I read in many post it was probably done at the amp

Essentially, yes - it's a small capacitor in series with one of the tweeter leads, mounted at the tweeter.

I thought you mentioned capacitors, they are usually soldered to the back of the tweeter, if it's not there, then you're okay.
