Default 1999 xk8

Someone tried to break-in and overextended the driverside window. This has caused a mis-timing of the automatic drp feature for convertibles to prevent window interference with rag top. Has anyone ever experienced this problem or know of a fiX?

Have you reset the travel limits on the window?

Sitting in the car with doors closed and ignition on, lower the driver's window and hold the button until you hear a soft click from inside the door. Next raise the window fully until you hear another soft click.

The same method works for the passenger side window.
