1999 XKR P1300 Error

1999 XKR P1300 Error
Hi, All
My 1999 XKR has developed a problem with gear changing.
When cold, the gear box changes up smoothly at around 2000RPM.
However, when the car is hot - especially doing a lot of stop/start driving - the gear change will only occur at around 3000-3500RPM and I sometimes have to accelerate hard to around 4000RPM before the gear box will change up.
I took it in and have been told there is a P1300 error which I believe means "boost calibration error" or something similar, It might as well be in Greek for all it means to me!
Can anyone offer an explanation and/or advice as to my next step?
