Hey Folks,
Got a crack on inside edge of R front on my '05 XKR. Slow air leak. Can it be repaired or am I in market for refurbished one?
Tks

The 9J x 20 inch Sepang P/N for the 2005 XKR is C2N3121. The P/N for the X350 is C2C22917 (less stainless steel rim) and C2C18597 (with stainless steel rim).

Makes me think the stud holes could be different between the two models .......

Man, that is some precise info. I really appreciate it, Graham. Yeah, looks like they're diff. The XJ8 wheel also looks more convex than the flatter XKR. Back to the drawing board.

Those Sepang wheels, while pretty, are a P.I.T.A. Mine have the silver flaking off and I will likely have them refinished, and don't get me started on the removable valve/cover annoyance!

dan314, I was looking at all the Jaguar Parts Websites earlier and out of the blue this site came up with something about those BBS Wheels you have....Check this out:

Yeah, Rick, the BBS are pretty but way too much trouble. When I finally had enuf of unscrewing caps and screwing in stems, I got a capless spring loaded stem for each wheel. No leaks so far.
Thanks Billy Clyde. I just may have had some luck. Went back to tire vendor, they checked but could find no leaks... seems to have disappeared. So far it's holding fine. Don't know what the original leak 'stemmed' from... pun intended

dan314 & Leaper_ Man,

I found this Jaguar Parts Website about 6mos ago and have followed it ever since! They are in Scotland and have all sorts of things new and used, that I have never seen on the ones here in the US and the Price's look good.....Just thought I would pass it on as this week they are pitching BBS Wheels like yours......

Rick, I also have a Black 2005 XKR Coupe and it has BBS Montreal's on it and I think the Hidden/Valve Steam is the greatest thing since Popcorn...It is unique and a great addition to the Jag line....I have a ball at the Tire store as 90% of the Guys that work there have never seen them...Plus 95% of the Crooks haven't even figured-out what
they are! I guess I have a different opinion of them.....
