I recently acquired a passenger side quarter window regulator from a fellow member. He said it tested good. I installed it yesterday. It does not function. Cables are ok. Does anyone know a test proceedure for checking the motor? Ohm check? before i have to take the darn thing out and start over. Are the 2 wires leading to the motor both signal one for up and one for down? and the unit mount is the ground?
Real pita to do twice if i dont have to. the driver side responds to using the key for operation.
The regulator I recieved was in the 2/3 up position when i installed it. I could not manually move its position so decided to install it that way and use the relay to run it up the rest of the way. I have not been able to get it to respond..
Any insight is appreciated.

 

I think there is a how to somewhere in here that tells you to pull the relay and jumper two of the wires to lift and swapping one of them to lower. I would think on the motor itself there should be 3 wires- ground, up and down?
