Default 2000 XKR Convertible Alpine Premium Audio Upgrade

I got the idea that what I was really missing was full sound from the rear so I decided to find out if good 2-way speakers in the rear would help out this system. I put in 6 ½” 2-ways in the subwoofer enclosures and with a little splicing got the rear output from the amp to the speakers, (You can’t just change out the speakers and use the subwoofer output). The system sounds way better and I am not sure I even care about the subs. I may do something with them latter. If you decide this is the route for you, here you go:
Remove rear seat, rear trim and center console.
The amp outputs to the speakers are wired to the grey 20 way plug in the middle of the wiring nest under the rear of the console.
Trace out your wiring to verify everything before you cut!
Splice the rear amp output wires to the speaker enclosures wires and you have it.
The wiring diagram and a photo are attached; you have to look carefully to see the splices.
