Default 2000 xkr radiator

Hey, i'm in the process of repairing my 1999 xk8 after a front end collision. I bought a 2000 xkr donor car and am having the front put on my car. Question, WILL THE RADIATOR that came with the XKR be made to work in my XK8, with some fittings for the lines? The dimensions are the same, I think, but the fittings are different, I think, thanks.

The radiator does have a sticker on it that says SUPERCHARGED ONLY, but, hoping it can be made to fit.

I have an XKR radiator in my XK8, you just need to block off the upper return hose, that goes to the resevoir, it is right above the upper tranny line and you need to adapters for the tranny lines.

My car is a 2001.

Sorta related.

On my 03 xk8 (non R) I have a nipple/plastic line sticking out on the top drivers side of the radiator. No hose going to it. Should that be capped, right now there is nothing on it.

Yours is already blocked (XKR's are open).

randyb is correct. I had both radiators sitting in my garage at one point and the only difference is the transmission line fittings and the upper return hose fitting (plugged vs. non-plugged).

Anyone else's radiator cover on the top fiberglass and deteriorating? I have to be careful not to touch it or my hand will turn to fire for a few days.
