Hi guys, can anyone help me,

my car dose not pass nys inspection, I the engine light on no power and the restricted performance is on

I used a snap on scanner to trouble shoot the my car,
these are the read outs that I got,

egr not ready,

OS bank 1 sensor 3 absent
OS bank 1 sensor 4 absent
OS bank 2 sensor 3 absent
OS bank 3 sensor 4 absent

I drove the car for many miles to try to reset some of the sensor, I had no luck,
dose any one know where the egr, and these are sensor are exactly located, I would like to try to change them my self to save money, time are tuff this days , should I try to install after market parts?

If you could post the P0xxx codes that the code reader produced that may help but it would appear they are pointing to the O2 sensors. Don't know if I have ever seen more than one fail at a time which leads me to believe that it is a connection problem rather than 4 sensors.

A little history on the car would also be helpful. Did you just buy it? Have you been driving it with the check engine light on for 11 months? What work has been done recently?

 

thank you for getting back to me, unfortunately. I have a old snap on scanner it can read the settings but is not able to produce the actual codes, I had the car since it was new, I hade the same problem two years go i went to jaguar and they changed all the os2 sensors, and it the problem started again last year, and yes I have bin driving with the engine light on for more then 11 months, last time i went to jaguar they clean me out, lol

this is how the scanner reads

OS2 bank 1 sensor 3 not ready
