I have a leak at the A/C filling valve. I called the jag parts department he asked one of the jag mechanics. the mechanic told him that at O'riley auto store they have 2 sizes of the core valve. I have the bigger one. I had to order a tool for the bigger valve. (I call them needle valve) I bough the bigger valve at O'riley. I took out the needle valve out with the tool I ordered.However the bigger valve from O'riley do not have the right thread.
The valve that was in my 2001 Xk8 has a much courser thread that the one you can buy at the auto store.
My question is where can I order the valve that has the course thread for my 2001 xk8 A/C filling valve. It is the low pressure side.
I would appreciate any help.
