New Year new problems. 2001 xk8 this morning when leaving for work had a Trans fault pop up. put in reverse backed up just fine. put in drive fine but when u go forward its not shifting through the gears , its like in 4th gear all the time. I tried to manually shift it but did not change a thing still in drive. got on main road and trans pulls great just wont down shift to lower gears or up shift.
