HI All,
So I have the P1746 and a few misfire codes...
I start up no issues, Reverse is fine but Drive is very sluggish,If I brake while hitting gas it misses bad,,, I have the misfires but even tho I have the trans fault it does shift gears? and runs fine once started. Could it just be that the misfires are the reason its so bad at start? Ill be checking all coils when it stops raining here in So NJ...
I also cleared all codes and had the battery out all night charging and didn't lose the radio but the code for trans was still there.

The car Sat for about a year so Im sure there are other items coming...
Any Insight be great...

The battery is failing or needs charging and causing all of your problems. Charge it overnight and take it to a parts store where they will load test it for you.

 

So I got the Trans fault code gone.. Not sure how but this is what I did today...
I had already charged the battery and it is charging in the car and has been, I took off the front wheels and the driver side was locked up with the caliber, fixed that, same with the right wheel.
Took one by one coil off and found 1 bad one, will replace tomorrow, clean the MAF the connector is broken Ill replace that.
SOO I go start the car and I have been going into drive in my driveway and it never really would move ,WELL, this time it almost went into the garage . Trans fault no longer showing.
Drove it around the area and great ride. Tomorrow replacing upper houses and coils... Car sat for a few years so Im getting there ...
