2001 xkr EGR Value issue?
Ok I have a 2001 XKR 57K miles. Yes before you ask my car has had the TSB for the EGR pipe completed back in 2005.
I have no error codes just P1111 (i.e. all systems checked out OK). But when I look at the Onboard Monitoring Service $06 I get the following fail component (ODBWiz). Also my fuel economy is well down 11.9 mpg (around town) and 20.9 mpg at 75mph motorway (freeway). But the car drives great Fuel trims seem ok Long Term are 3.9% Bank 1 and 5% Bank 2.
Reslults Value Min Max Result
TID $09 Component $11 65535 32809 N/A Pass
TID $0A Component $11 65535 N/A 33423 Fail
From the Jag Codes I think these TID's are
$09 $00 EGR system flow malfunction (GA changing rate low) g/sec
$0A $00 EGR system flow malfunction (GA changing rate high) g/sec
I did have the EGR Value out a few months ago after I found Jag dealer had not tighened one of the EGR bolts and it was lying on top of the gear box. I cleaned it and it was not sticking. This problem may have been around for years but I've just noticed this error.
Any ideas see attached for pick of the $06 Service read out. Does anyone else have their ODB II $06 readout? as this just may be an error with the ODBWiz software as I've noticed other peoples read out show this failure. Could someone else take a look at the readings for their car ?
Thanks
Simon
