to replace the hoses, you need to remove 3/4 of the interior, drivers seat, back seat, half the carpet, and hear rail, youll see the hoses and how they route. My recomendation, have someone else do it, for most its worth someone that knows how to do it, fixing it.. Try cleaning the disc for error

Can't any clever person come up with some simple type of splice kit to be able to merely replace the length of hose between the latch and say the A-pillar?

My nav unit also sometimes has an error reading the disc, and it is totally random. i tried a new disc, and that does not fix the issue, so don't go buying one. my next attempt will be to clean the navigation dvd unit, compressed air and maybe a pickup cleaning if that doesn't work.

There is a splice repair kit available from Jaguar. It replaces a length of hydraulic line from the latch to just behind the fuse panel.
