Do all XKR's come with the remote link for the Garage door? If so I can't find mine. My roof console has no buttons. Just lights. With a car that has every other option Jag offered why they left this out is beyond me!

 

There should be 3 buttons between the lights on the overhead console. If you don't have them, someone must have replaced your console with an earlier year unit.

mark, PM illium, he has a wrecked XKR with grey interior and can sell you his overhead console. Its a kung-fu grip, pull down removal procedure.

I surprized it doesn't have that.. Mine doesn't have the compass in the mirror

 

cohi, you may have to 'calibrate' the compass, in the manual it says to drive very slowly in a tight circle, maybe twice...seriously, its in there. Otherwise, you'll just see a C or blank square...you even have a blank square? Maybe your mirror was replaced...

 

No... mine just dosen't have a compass....I wonder if they quit putting them in when the navagation came along???.

 

mine has one, plus the nav system. That is very odd. You can try to swap yours out if you want, there's a rebuilder of those mirrors listed in threads around this forum, with a trade you may be able to get one with N-S-E-W and all the E/W combinations in between!

 

I guess it is just one of the things I don't have. I wonder if they don't want you looking in the mirror if you have a supercharged motor.. Maybe Jaguar wants you looking straight ahead on.
