So hey guys it's me again and last time you were all SO much help to me. So thank you very much, but I have a new question. My gas gauge reads empty ALL the time even after filling. Can anyone tell me what could be causing his or what is the cause? Getting new thermostat housing and water intake pipes this weekend because the current one now is leaking and causing car to overheat. Should I make the switch to aluminum housing?
Leak coming for where I'm pointing but underneath not exactly where my finger is
You guys wanted to see my cat here it is, in love since I first test drove it and can't stop staring at it as I walk away after parking it to this day, only had it for a week or so
Be sure to replace that short section of hose attached to the coolant pipe...it looks like it is about to burst.
Gas gauge issues are by far most commonly a problem with the float in the tank, but could also be wiring or the gauge cluster. Fortunately on a coupe you can access the float in the gas tank from the rear subwoofer opening.
I will provide a few links for you. One for the thermostat housing and the other for the fuel tank level indication. Not sure if your 2002 tank is the same as the 1999 so if it is it will help.
