Default 2002 XKR Air Flow Sensor & oil cooler hose questions

I may not be understanding this right, but after doing a few searches of the forum I'm thinking the XK8 shares the same Air Flow Sensor with many other cars, and those can be had for well under $100.

But I'm not finding any other cars that share the same part with the XKR, correct ? So the XKR Air Flow Sensor ( LNE1620BB ) is priced accordingly, well in excess of $200.

Before I take the plunge, please let me know if I have this right.

Also, I'm ordering some oil cooler hoses. Are there any suppliers that have "deals" on these ? Or is $400+ the going rate for all four hoses ? And are there any special tricks involved in the removal and replacement of the hoses ?

thanks,

Z.

Assuming your XKR's MAF sensor is OEM Denso, you need to track down that specific Denso part number (not the Jaguar part number). Then you can search amazon using the Denso part number and probably find it for a much better price. I doubt if any of these MAF sensors are specific to just one car....

The Denso part number for the spare MAF sensor I purchased from amazon in early 2017 is 197-6030. It fits both my wife's 2006 XK8 and my now-sold 2005 S-Type 3.0....

Thanks for the suggestion, I have already searched for part using the OEM Denso numbers on the sensor. The same sensor is used on numerous Jaguar supercharged cars, haven't seen it associated with any other make.

The lowest price found , (drum roll... ) is the first place I checked, SNG Barratt @ $243 USD
